Live Yes! Connect launched: 2018

Live Yes! Connect Facilitator: Kristine      Type of Arthritis: Rheumatoid Arthritis

About this Live Yes! Connect Group:

My vision is a  community where persons with arthritis and rheumatic conditions and their loved ones feel comfortable to share, ask questions, learn, and become empowered.

About: Kristine

As of January 2018, I have been diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis for 10 years. In my career as an occupational therapy researcher and side life as a volunteer, my passion is to serve and empower all people with chronic conditions, especially young adults diagnosed at early ages, so that we may all live life to the fullest. I have moved around the country following various colleges, but am happy to be settling in San Diego as a proud military wife. When I am not at Disneyland with my family, I may be eating, baking, playing board games, gardening... or eating some more!

While the Internet is a glorious place to make contacts and gain information, I am truly grateful to have met others with rheumatic conditions in-person and now have unique friendships with these people who "just get me." As a facilitator of a Live Yes! Connect group in the San Diego area, I hope to create opportunities for more connection, support, and education.
