Live Yes! Connect launched: 2018

Live Yes! Connect Facilitator: Sarah           Type of Arthritis: Lupus, Fibromyalgia

About this Live Yes! Connect Group:

My vision is a place where people with autoimmune, rheumatic, and arthritic conditions can come together in an uplifting atmosphere knowing others there have similar experiences.

About: Sarah

Hello! My name is Sarah Nelson. I am a wife, a mother, a grandmother, a writer, and an individual with health issues that create challenges I both loathe and am grateful for experiencing. I enjoy archaeology, the great outdoors, and my husband's popcorn.

I was diagnosed with ITP and lupus anticoagulant in December of 2012 and systematic lupus a few months later in 2013, but my doctors and I are certain I functioned with all of these conditions on and off since I was a teenager. In 2016, trigeminal neuralgia and fibromyalgia joined the party.

I am leading a group in my area because I feel there is a camaraderie when people come together with shared challenging experiences. These health conditions leave many of us feeling isolated. Together, we can learn, share, uplift, laugh, and simply be.
