Live Yes! Connect for JA Parents launched: 2018

Live Yes! Connect fur JA Parents Facilitator: Amy

About this Live Yes! Connect group for JA Parents:

To help support parents who have a child with rheumatic disease understand ways of improving their child’s life with pain and help educate them about the disease. Live Yes! Connect let individuals know that they are not alone and gives them a voice to share with others.

About Amy:

Hi all, I'm so excited to be here and be a facilitator for a great new program! I am a dance studio owner, mom of 3 kiddos - 1 boy and 2 girls.  We have been to no less than 3-4 doctors since everything started with my youngest daughter 3 years ago and we have yet to get an official for sure diagnosis of exactly what type she has. I really want to advocate for the criteria by which they diagnose to be broadened, changed. My middle daughter more recently is also starting to have hyper mobility, joint issues all of the sudden as well. Going through all of this can be so alienating. The girls and I went to our first conference summer 2018 and it was life changing for us all. I am a mom on fire and want to do my part and hope all the Oklahoma JA parents will join me in this journey we all face together!
