Live Yes! Connect relaunched: 2019

Live Yes! Connect Facilitator: Shannon                       Type of Arthritis: Rheumatoid arthritis

About this Live Yes! Connect Group:

My vision for the Live Yes! Connect group is a safe, positive environment where members and/or their loved ones receive compassion, understanding, and encouragement. Meetings will be focused on education, problem solving skills, and learning to be a self advocate or an advocate for a loved one.

I would like to use my experience as a survivor of RA and Fibromyalgia as well as my connection with the Arthritis Foundation to help others accept, adjust, and thrive. I wish to be a source of empathy and knowledge for members and their loves ones.

About: Shannon

I was diagnosed with RA in 1990 and Fibromyalgia in the mid 90s. I retired from professional work for medical reasons in 2009. I love reading, travelling, and spending time with my family.
