Kansas City, MO Live Yes! Connect June Meeting - Tools, Tips, and Tricks for Living with Arthritis
Kansas City Live Yes! Connect
Live Yes! Connect groups provide help & support to adults living with all types of arthritis and rheumatic diseases.
Join our network for Connection, Education and Empowerment.
In June we will be discussing "Life Hacks", or tricks, tips and tools for making everyday things easier. Hannah Page, OTR, will join us to talk about what Occupational Therapy techniques are often helpful for people with arthritis. Then we will have a group discussion and some "show and tell". I encourage people to bring any assistive devices they have found helpful so you can show them off to the group.
Hannah is a registered Occupational Therapist with experience in outpatient rehabilitation, acute care, inpatient rehab, and pediatrics. She graduated from Fort Hays State University with a Bachelor in Sport and Exercise Therapy and graduated from Occupational Therapy school at The University of Kansas Medical Center.
Please RSVP so we know who to expect. We understand that RSVPs can be difficult to keep, so no pressure and come if you're able. Facilitator contact information will be provided upon RSVP.
Spouses/Significant Others, Adult Loved Ones, and Friends are Welcome!
Please feel free to share this event with others living with arthritis and their loved ones.
Hope to see you there!
