Please join us as we navigate the journey of grieving our own life losses as a result of chronic illness. Licensed Professional Counselor Greg DeNeal will touch on the following:
1. The source of grief, i.e. loss, and the resulting emotional dimensions.
2. Our heart work and possible active participation in our own grief journey
3. The difference between grief and mourning
4. The disenfranchisement of health loss and our response options
Greg DeNeal., a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Missouri, received his Masters in both Counseling and Theology from Covenant Theological Seminary in St. Louis, MO. He also holds a certification from Alan Wolfetl's Loss and Life Transitions Center in Ft. Collins, CO. His focus of practice has been in the area of grief that accompanies not only the death of a loved one but also the result of the losses in our lives. He works from a premise that all losses, though different in their source and unique circumstances, share certain dimensions that we can actively participate with as we journey our life paths.
